créateur des Epsilons, bassiste des Moonhearts;
qu’on retrouve à la guitare de tous les projets de Ty segall: Ty Segall Band, Fuzz ou encore GØGGS;
et batteur de White Fence à ses heures. Rien que ça !
EN: Charles Frances Moothart is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. He is best known for his collaborations with the garage rock musicians, Ty Segall and Mikal Cronin. Moothart is the drummer for Segall’s current backing band, The Freedom Band, was the guitarist for Segall’s backing band, the Ty Segall Band, and is the guitarist and vocalist in the pair’s hard rock project, Fuzz. Additionally, he is a member of Segall’s collaborative project with Ex-Cult’s Chris Shaw, GØGGS.
Alongside playing in the Ty Segall Band, both Moothart and Cronin were members of the Moonhearts, with Moothart assisting Cronin on his solo albums, Mikal Cronin (2011) and MCII (2013).
In 2016, Moothart released his debut solo album, Still Life of Citrus and Slime, under the moniker CFM. A second studio album, Dichotomy Desaturated, will be released in March 2017.
arrived on the Ghent music scene in early 2013, they have since played countless wild and chaotic gigs all around Belgium, Holland & France. Critics constantly struggle trying to pinpoint exactly what genre of music they play but it could be described as a mix between raw punk, garage rock, noise and psychedelia. In 2015 they released a split 7″ with Teen Creeps (Oddie Records) and a cassette co-released by L.A.-based labels Gnar Tapes and Burger Records. Their debut full length LP “Nerve Endings”-is out NOW on PNKSLM Recordings.
