Formé en 2008, Dope Body est un groupe de noise rock de Baltimore. Originellement composé d’Andrew Laumann au chant, de Zachary Utz à la guitare et de David Jacober à la batterie, le trio est rejoint en 2011 par le bassiste Jesse Lyell qui quittera finalement le groupe l’année suivante pour laisser sa place à John Jones. C’est également en 2012 que le groupe sort son premier album appelé “Natural History” qui signera un changement de cap. Reconnus pour la virtuosité de ses membres et sa présence scénique exceptionnelle, Dope Body est souvent comparé à des groupes comme Rage Against The Machine ou Brainiac. En octobre 2014, ils sortent leur nouvel album “Lifer” et entament une tournée internationale qui les mènera jusqu’au VK.

Coubiac started up in Brussels in late summer 2010 with Stef (Excuse Excuse, Rodeo Machine), HP (Reno), Pierre (Aksu) and Fabian (Akhal-Teke, Rodeo Machine). They quickly began playing shows over the country and by January 2012, they released their first EP «Nosebreaker».
A video directed by Coubiac’s photographer Laetitia Bica was made to promote it. Their swinging and powerful live performances allowed them to share the stage with many great bands such as Hey Colossus, Child Bite, Kylesa, Saviours, Danava, Gnod, Hangman’s chair, Iron Cross, etc.
In 2013, Coubiac hit back with a second self-made EP entitled “JAB”. The band is now working on a full length album. Something dirty, fast and rough is coming…
